He said, confusingly:
“Were there not three men thrown into the fire?
How come I can see a fourth man?
He even looks like the son of God.”
They can’t understand it;
They can never explain this mystery.
Our God is with us,
We can’t be afraid.
Though the tempest roar,
And rivers overflow their banks.
Though perils and sorrows escalate,
And fire blaze hard.
Nothing can separate us from God’s love;
His love is without borders.
Our God is with us,
We can’t be afraid.
Though the economy nosedive,
And pains hit the street.
Though evil reigns amongst counselors,
And truth seems not to prevail.
We shall shine forth as a blazing light;
A light that darkness can’t comprehend.
Our God is with us,
We can’t be afraid.
Though the city buys and sells evil,
And immorality takes over the headlines.
Though the streets be filled with threat and darkness,
And the Just seem to disappear.
We are salts that have not lost their taste;
Decay can’t resist our preserving power.
Our God is with us,
We can’t be afraid.
Yes, they call us worms,
They don’t know we have been made as new sharp threshing instruments.
We shall beat down mountains;
They shall be like chaff before us.
We are like an army of locust;
We don’t look back on our prey.
Our God is with us,
We can’t be afraid.
